Tiger Cub Club Membership Terms
These Membership Terms (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and Advanced Air & Fire Inc., doing business as Tiger Plumbing Heating & Air (“Tiger,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), for the Tiger Cub Club maintenance membership (“Membership”). Your enrollment form (paper, tablet, phone, or online) and these Terms together make up your Membership agreement. Please keep a copy.

1. Eligibility and what the Membership covers
- The Membership is for owner-occupied or owner-authorized residential properties within our service area. If you are not the owner, you confirm that the owner has authorized the Membership and the services under it.
- Each Membership covers one property at the address on your enrollment form: its primary heating system, its primary cooling system, and its plumbing. If your home has additional furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, or ductless systems, ask us about coverage before enrolling; additional systems may require an additional fee quoted at enrollment.
- Equipment must be safe, accessible, and in serviceable condition. We may decline to service equipment that is unsafe, non-functional, improperly installed, or at the end of its useful life, and we will tell you why.
2. Your benefits
Benefits are provided once per membership year, which is the 12-month period starting on your enrollment date and each anniversary after that.
Plumbing inspection (one per membership year). A visual inspection of the accessible plumbing in your home, including a flush of a standard tanked water heater when the unit is in a condition that makes flushing appropriate. The inspection may be scheduled on its own or combined with one of your tune-up visits.
Air-conditioning tune-up (one per membership year, spring). Routine maintenance and a performance check of your primary cooling system, scheduled in spring (generally March through June).
Heating tune-up (one per membership year, fall). Routine maintenance and a performance check of your primary heating system, scheduled in fall (generally September through November).
5% off qualifying equipment. Applies to qualifying equipment sold and installed by Tiger, such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, water softeners, and similar equipment.
15% off qualifying repairs and parts. Applies to qualifying plumbing, heating, and cooling repair services performed by Tiger and the parts used in those repairs.
Priority scheduling. When appointment availability is limited, member requests are placed ahead of non-member requests. Priority scheduling improves your position in line; it is not a guarantee of same-day service.
$99 member dispatch fee. Members pay a reduced dispatch fee of $99 for repair and diagnostic visits instead of our standard dispatch fee of $149. Dispatch fees do not apply to your included maintenance visits.
3. What maintenance visits include and do not include
Membership visits are routine maintenance and inspection visits. They evaluate the visible, accessible, and serviceable parts of your systems as they exist on the day of the visit.
The plumbing inspection is a general visual inspection only. It is not a city, county, state, permit, insurance, or code-compliance inspection and does not replace any inspection required by a building department, inspector, or other authority. During the inspection our technician may open readily accessible cabinet doors (for example, under sinks) to look at visible plumbing. The inspection does not include moving stored items or furniture, removing panels or covers, opening walls, ceilings, or floors, disassembling fixtures, excavation, sewer camera inspection, pressure testing, leak detection, water-quality or mold testing, or inspection of concealed, blocked, unsafe, or inaccessible areas, unless we agree to it separately in writing.
Water heater flush. Whether a flush is appropriate depends on the water heater’s age, type, condition, installation, and accessibility. Flushing an older, corroded, leaking, or poorly maintained unit can cause a leak or failure. If our technician judges that flushing is not advisable, we will explain why and skip it; that decision does not entitle you to a credit or refund.
Tune-ups are maintenance, not guarantees. A tune-up helps your equipment run safely and efficiently. It does not guarantee that the equipment will not fail, that every defect will be found, or that the system will not need repairs in the future.
Repairs are separate. If a visit reveals a needed repair, we will explain it and give you a price before doing any work. Repairs, parts, refrigerant, filters (unless we say they are included), and other consumables are not included in the Membership fee, but your 15% member discount applies to qualifying repairs and parts.
Findings are limited to what could be observed. Hidden leaks, concealed defects, intermittent problems, prior improper work, underground or in-wall piping, worn parts, and conditions that develop after the visit may not be discovered. The Membership is not a guarantee that your plumbing, heating, cooling, water-heating, drain, or sewer systems are free of defects or will not need repair or replacement.
4. Scheduling, access, and unused visits
- You are responsible for scheduling your visits. We will send seasonal reminders by phone, text, or email, but we cannot guarantee availability if you wait until the end of a season. Please schedule spring tune-ups before hot weather and fall tune-ups before the heating season.
- Unused visits do not roll over. A visit not used during the membership year in which it was earned is forfeited. Unused visits have no cash value and are not credited or refunded.
- Access. You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the equipment, fixtures, shutoff valves, panels, and areas to be serviced, to secure pets, and to have an adult present. If access is blocked, unsafe, or unavailable, the technician may note that portion of the visit as limited or not completed; it will still count as your visit for that season unless we agree otherwise.
- Rescheduling. Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a membership visit. If a technician arrives and cannot access the property or equipment, we may count the visit as used.
5. Discount rules
- Discounts apply only while your Membership is active and your payments are current.
- Discounts apply to qualifying equipment sold and installed by Tiger and to qualifying repair services and parts performed by Tiger. They do not apply to work performed before your enrollment date or to work performed by anyone else.
- Discounts cannot be combined with coupons, promotions, special pricing, financing promotions, or prior estimates unless we agree in writing.
- Discounts do not apply to dispatch, diagnostic, or after-hours fees, permit fees, code-required upgrades, Membership fees, taxes, or third-party charges.
- If a quoted price already reflects your member discount, the estimate will say so.
6. Billing, automatic renewal, and price changes
Your plan continues until you cancel (monthly and quarterly plans). By enrolling in the monthly or quarterly plan, you authorize Tiger to charge the payment method you provide, on a recurring basis, until you cancel:
- Monthly plan: $16.50 debited from your bank account by ACH on or about the same day each month, starting on your enrollment date.
- Quarterly plan: $60 charged to your credit or debit card every three months, starting on your enrollment date.
Annual plan. $297 is charged once at enrollment and covers 12 months of Membership. The annual plan does not renew automatically. Before your term ends we will contact you about re-enrolling; if you do nothing, your Membership simply ends on its end date.
ACH authorization (monthly plan). You authorize Tiger to initiate recurring electronic debits from the bank account you designate, and to initiate a corrective debit or credit if an error occurs. This authorization stays in effect until you cancel your Membership or revoke the authorization by contacting us at least three business days before the next scheduled debit. If a debit is returned unpaid, we may attempt it again and may charge a returned-payment fee of up to $30 to the extent permitted by law.
Card on file (quarterly plan). If your card expires or a charge is declined, we may obtain updated card details through our payment processor’s card-updater service or contact you for a new payment method.
If a payment fails. Benefits are suspended while a payment is past due. If we cannot collect payment within 30 days, we may cancel your Membership. Any discounts applied to work performed while your account was past due may be reversed and billed at standard rates.
Confirmation. After you enroll we will give you a copy of these Terms and a confirmation showing your plan, price, billing schedule, and how to cancel, by email or on paper. Monthly and quarterly members will also receive a written reminder of these terms and cancellation instructions, by email or mail, at least once each calendar year.
Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days’ written notice (by email or mail) before any price increase. The new price applies to the first billing period after the notice period ends. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before it takes effect and you will not be charged it. Prices for annual members do not change during a prepaid term.
7. Canceling your Membership
You may cancel at any time, for any reason. Contact us by phone at (952) 942-5748, by email at mail@callthetiger.com, or by mail at the address at the end of these Terms. If you enrolled online, you may also cancel online through the method provided on our website. We will confirm your cancellation in writing within 5 business days.
When cancellation takes effect.
- Monthly and quarterly plans: cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You will not be charged again, and your benefits continue through the end of that period.
- Annual plan: because the annual plan does not renew, there is nothing to cancel; your benefits continue through the end of your prepaid 12-month term.
No refunds for fees already paid. Except as described in Section 8 (three-business-day right to cancel), Section 10 (when we cancel or discontinue the program), or where a refund is required by law, Membership fees you have already paid are not refunded, whether or not you used your visits.
No charge-backs for benefits you used. If you cancel after receiving a tune-up, inspection, or discount, we will not bill you for the value of those benefits. Amounts you already owe for completed repairs, equipment, parts, or other services remain due.
8. Your right to cancel within three business days
If you enrolled anywhere other than our office (for example, at your home or by phone), Minnesota law gives you the right to cancel your enrollment for a full refund by sending us written notice by midnight of the third business day after the date of enrollment. A business day is any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or Minnesota legal holiday. Refunds under this section are made within 10 days after we receive your notice.
The following statement is printed on the enrollment form next to the signature line:
You, the buyer, may cancel this purchase at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of this purchase. See attached notice of cancellation form for an explanation of this right.
9. Moving, selling your home, and transfers
The Membership belongs to the property on your enrollment form. It cannot be moved to a different property. If you sell your home, you may transfer the remaining Membership to the new owner by contacting us; the new owner must accept these Terms and, for the monthly or quarterly plan, provide a new payment method. If you move and do not transfer the Membership, you may cancel as described in Section 7 and enroll again at your new home if it is within our service area.
10. Changes to the program and cancellation by Tiger
Changes. We may change Membership benefits, pricing, or these Terms. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before a change affects you. For monthly and quarterly members, changes take effect at the first billing period after the notice period; if you do not accept a change, cancel before it takes effect. Changes do not reduce the benefits of a prepaid annual term already in progress. If you keep your Membership after a change takes effect, you accept the change.
Cancellation by Tiger. We may cancel your Membership if a payment is more than 30 days past due, if we stop serving the area where the property is located, if conditions at the property are unsafe for our technicians, or if the Membership is misused (for example, used for a property or systems not covered). We may also discontinue the Tiger Cub Club program entirely. If we cancel for any reason other than non-payment or misuse, or if we discontinue the program, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid fees on a prorated basis.
11. Limits of the Membership and legal terms
- The Membership provides the maintenance visits, discounts, and scheduling priority described above. It is not insurance, a home warranty, or a service contract that pays for repairs.
- Work we perform during a maintenance visit is covered by the workmanship warranty described in our Warranty, Price Match & Rebate Terms. Repairs and installations you purchase with your member discount are covered by the warranty terms in your job documents and by any warranty Minnesota law provides.
- We are not responsible for conditions that could not be observed during a visit, for equipment failures that occur after a visit, or for damage caused by lack of maintenance, misuse, power surges, water quality, freezing, flooding, or other causes outside our control.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence, or waives any right that cannot be waived under Minnesota law.
- These Terms are governed by Minnesota law. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Hennepin County, Minnesota; either party may use Minnesota conciliation (small-claims) court for eligible claims.
- If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms and your enrollment form are the complete Membership agreement and replace any earlier membership terms.
