Terms and Conditions

1. Who may use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a service request, enroll in a membership, or enter into an agreement with us. By requesting service at a property, you confirm that you own it or are authorized by the owner to have work performed there.

2. Service requests and appointments

A request is not a confirmed appointment. When you submit a “Request Service,” “Free Estimate,” or contact form, we receive your information and contact you to confirm a date and arrival window. Your appointment is confirmed only when we say so by phone, text, or email.

Emergencies. Do not rely on a web form for an urgent problem. Call us at (952) 942-5748 for no-heat, no-cooling, active-leak, or sewer-backup emergencies. If you smell gas, leave the building immediately, then call your gas utility or 911 from outside.

Arrival windows. Because service calls vary in length, we schedule arrival windows rather than exact times. We will let you know if we are running late.

Access. You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the equipment and work areas, to secure pets, and to have an adult (18 or older) present during the visit.

Cancellations and no-access visits. Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. If a technician arrives at a confirmed appointment and cannot access the property or the equipment, or if you cancel less than 2 hours before the start of your arrival window, we may charge our standard dispatch fee of $149.

Service area. We serve homes in Eden Prairie and the surrounding Twin Cities west-metro area. We may decline a request outside our service area or for work we do not perform.

Residential focus. Our services are provided for residential properties. Requests for commercial properties are handled on a case-by-case basis.

3. Estimates, pricing, and payment

Information on the Site is not a quote. Prices, examples, “starting at” figures, and descriptions on the Site are general information and may change without notice. Your price is the price on the written estimate or proposal you approve.

Dispatch and diagnostic fees. Repair visits may include a dispatch or diagnostic fee, which we disclose when you book. Equipment-replacement estimates are free unless we tell you otherwise.

Estimates are based on visible conditions. An estimate reflects what our technician can see and test at the time of the visit. Concealed conditions, code-required upgrades, permit requirements, or changes you request may change the scope and price. We will explain the change and get your approval before doing additional work.

Estimate validity. Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless the estimate says otherwise. Manufacturer price changes, rebates, and promotions may affect pricing after that period.

Payment. Payment is due when the work is completed unless you have arranged financing or we have agreed to other terms in writing. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Past-due balances may be subject to interest and collection costs to the extent permitted by Minnesota law, as stated on your invoice or service agreement.

Permits and inspections. Where a permit is required, we obtain it and schedule the required inspections. Permit fees are included in your estimate or listed separately.

4. Promotions, coupons, and special offers

Unless an offer states otherwise, every promotion, coupon, or special offer on the Site or in our advertising:

• is valid only for residential customers within our service area;
• must be mentioned when you book or presented before we prepare your estimate;
• applies to one offer per household per visit and cannot be combined with other offers, membership discounts, or prior estimates;
• does not apply to dispatch, diagnostic, or permit fees, or to work already completed;
• has no cash value and cannot be transferred; and
• may be changed or withdrawn at any time, except for offers you have already accepted in a written estimate.

Offers with an expiration date must be redeemed by that date.

5. Financing

We do not make loans. Financing is offered by an independent lender (currently Service Finance Company, LLC) and is subject to that lender’s credit approval, terms, and privacy policy. When you click “Apply for Financing,” you leave our Site and provide your application directly to the lender. Any promotional rate, term, or payment described in our advertising is provided by the lender and applies only to approved applicants who meet the lender’s conditions.

6. Rebates, warranties, and price matching

We assist with utility and manufacturer rebates, offer a one-year workmanship warranty (in addition to any warranty Minnesota law provides), and offer a price match. The details, conditions, and exclusions are in our Warranty, Price Match & Rebate Terms, which are part of these Terms.

7. Tiger Cub Club membership

Membership benefits, pricing, billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the Tiger Cub Club Membership Terms.

8. Communications from us

When you give us your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you about your request, appointment, estimate, or account by phone and email, and by text message if you opt in. Promotional texts require your separate consent. All texts are governed by our Messaging Terms & Conditions. You can opt out of marketing emails through the unsubscribe link and out of texts by replying STOP. Calls with us may be recorded, and some calls may be handled by an automated assistant, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Reviews, testimonials, and photos

Reviews displayed on the Site are collected by third-party platforms (such as Google) from customers who chose to leave them. We may display them through a feed or widget and may shorten a review for space without changing its meaning. We do not write, buy, or condition incentives on the content of reviews, and we do not suppress negative reviews.

If you submit a review, testimonial, or photo to us directly, you give us permission to use it in our marketing, with your first name and city, unless you tell us otherwise. We ask for your permission before using photos that identify you, your family, your address, or the interior of your home.

10. Our content and trademarks

The Site and everything on it, including text, photos, graphics, videos, logos, page layouts, and software, belong to Tiger or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. “Tiger Plumbing Heating & Air,” the Tiger name and logo, the tiger mascot, and “Tiger Cub Club” are our trademarks. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, scrape, frame, or create derivative works from the Site, or use our trademarks, without our written permission.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading, or someone else’s information;
• use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to harass our staff;
• interfere with the Site’s operation or security, or attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorized to use;
• use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to collect content or submit forms; or
• introduce viruses or other harmful code.

We may block access or decline service to anyone who violates these Terms.

12. Third-party websites and services

The Site links to websites and services we do not control, including our financing partner, review platforms, manufacturers, utilities, and social media. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

13. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep the Site accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it is error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free of viruses, and we may change or remove content at any time.

Articles, blog posts, and tips on the Site are general information, not professional advice for your specific home. Plumbing, heating, cooling, gas, and electrical systems can be dangerous. Do not attempt repairs involving gas, combustion equipment, refrigerant, or electrical connections yourself; call a licensed professional.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties about the Site, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This disclaimer applies to the Site only. Our workmanship warranty and any manufacturer warranty on the work and products we sell are described in our Warranty, Price Match & Rebate Terms and your job documents.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiger and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, and our total liability for claims relating to the Site will not exceed $100.

This section limits liability only for your use of the Site. It does not limit our responsibility for services we perform under your job documents or warranty, and it does not limit any liability that cannot be limited under Minnesota law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Tiger and its owners, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and reasonable attorney fees arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or information you submit that infringes someone else’s rights.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Either party may bring an eligible claim in Minnesota conciliation (small-claims) court. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under Minnesota consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.

17. Electronic communications and signatures

You agree that we may provide estimates, agreements, invoices, receipts, notices, and other documents electronically, including by email, text message, or on a technician’s tablet, and that your electronic signature or approval on those documents is binding. You may request a paper copy of any document at no charge by contacting us.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version with a new effective date. Changes apply to your use of the Site after the effective date. Work you have already approved in writing is governed by the terms in effect when you approved it.

19. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor of our business. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Messaging Terms & Conditions, the Warranty, Price Match & Rebate Terms, and the Tiger Cub Club Membership Terms are the complete agreement regarding your use of the Site.

20. Contact us
