Membership Visits
Membership visits are routine maintenance and inspection visits only. They are intended to help evaluate visible, accessible, and serviceable portions of the applicable plumbing, heating, or cooling system at the time of service.
The yearly plumbing inspection is a general visual inspection only. It is not an official city, county, state, permit, insurance, or code-compliance inspection. It does not replace any inspection required by a municipality, building department, plumbing inspector, or other authority having jurisdiction.
The plumbing inspection also includes a standard tanked water heater flush when the unit is serviceable and appropriate to flush. Service is dependent on the age, type, condition, installation, accessibility, and overall serviceability of the water heater. If the unit is older, leaking, corroded, unsafe, inaccessible, or otherwise in poor condition, we may recommend against flushing and may decline the service due to increased risk of leakage or failure.
During the plumbing inspection, our technician may open readily accessible cabinet doors, such as under-sink bathroom or kitchen cabinets, to visually inspect visible plumbing components. The inspection does not include moving stored items, removing panels, opening walls, opening ceilings, opening floors, disassembling fixtures, excavation, sewer camera inspection, pressure testing, leak detection, water quality testing, mold testing, or inspecting concealed, blocked, unsafe, or inaccessible areas unless specifically agreed to in writing.
The air conditioning tune-up and heating tune-up are routine maintenance visits. They are not guarantees that the equipment will not fail, that all defects will be discovered, or that the system will continue operating without future repairs.
No Guarantee Against Future Problems
Membership inspections, tune-ups, maintenance visits, recommendations, and findings are based only on the visible, accessible, and serviceable conditions observed at the time of the visit. Hidden leaks, concealed defects, intermittent issues, improper prior work, inaccessible components, underground piping issues, worn parts, future failures, or conditions not present at the time of service may not be discovered.
Membership does not guarantee that plumbing, heating, cooling, water heating, drain, sewer, or related systems are free from defects or will not require future repair or replacement.
Discounts
Active members receive 5% off qualifying equipment purchases and 15% off qualifying service repairs and related parts.
Discounts apply only while the membership is active and in good standing. Discounts may not be combined with other offers, coupons, promotions, special pricing, financing promotions, prior estimates, prior purchases, diagnostic fees, dispatch fees, after-hours fees, permit fees, code-required upgrades, maintenance plan charges, or third-party charges unless specifically approved in writing by Tiger Plumbing Heating & Air.
Equipment discounts apply to qualifying equipment sold and installed by Tiger Plumbing Heating & Air. Service discounts apply to qualifying repair services and related parts performed by Tiger Plumbing Heating & Air. Discounts do not apply to work performed before the membership start date.
Scheduling
Membership visits are subject to scheduling availability. Spring air conditioning tune-ups and fall heating tune-ups should be scheduled during the applicable season. Tiger Plumbing Heating & Air will make a reasonable effort to notify the Customer of their seasonal services. Customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the equipment, fixtures, panels, shutoff valves, and areas to be inspected or serviced.
If access is blocked, unsafe, unavailable, or limited, the technician may mark that portion of the visit as limited or not accessible.
Billing and Renewal
Membership pricing, billing frequency, and renewal terms are provided at the time of enrollment. If the membership is billed on a recurring basis, Customer authorizes Tiger Plumbing Heating & Air to charge the payment method on file according to the selected billing frequency until the membership is canceled or otherwise terminated.
Membership benefits are available only while the membership is active and payments are current.
Cancellation
Customer may cancel the membership by contacting Tiger Plumbing Heating & Air by mail, emailing mail@callthetiger.com, or by calling (952) 942-5748. Cancellation does not cancel or reduce amounts already owed for completed work, completed visits, repairs, equipment, parts, or other services provided before cancellation.
If a customer cancels after receiving membership benefits, discounts, inspections, tune-ups, or services, Tiger Plumbing Heating & Air may charge for the value of benefits already received or remove discounts that were provided because of the membership.
Changes to Membership
Tiger Plumbing Heating & Air may update membership pricing, benefits, exclusions, or terms with notice to the customer as required by law. Continued membership after the effective date of an update means the customer accepts the updated terms, unless the customer cancels before the update takes effect.
Legal Limitations
Nothing in these terms waives any rights, warranties, or obligations that cannot legally be waived. These terms do not limit liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or obligations that apply to separately contracted repair or installation work.
