Drain Cleaning
A slow, stopped, or recurring drain is enough reason to start a conversation. Tell Tiger what you have observed; the cause should be assessed onsite rather than assumed from the symptom.

When to call
Notice the pattern. Leave room for assessment.
These situations describe a service need without turning a visible symptom into a technical conclusion.
- 01
Slow drains
Water is moving away more slowly than it normally does. Note which fixture is affected and when you began noticing the change.
- 02
Stopped drains
Water is no longer draining from the affected fixture. Stop using it if continued use is causing an overflow or backup.
- 03
Recurring trouble
The same drain problem improves and then returns. That pattern is useful to share, but it does not identify the cause on its own.
- 04
More than one fixture affected
Trouble at several drains at once—or backing up at the lowest fixtures—is important to mention, because the conversation may involve the sewer line rather than a single drain.
When drain trouble comes back
A recurring problem deserves another look.
A drain that repeatedly slows or stops may not present the same way every time. Tell Tiger how often the trouble returns and what you have observed. An onsite assessment is the appropriate place to understand the current situation and discuss options. If that assessment points at the condition of the sewer line itself, the conversation continues on thesewer line repair page.
While you are arranging help
Keep the response simple.
- Stop using the affected fixture if continued use is causing an overflow or backup.
- Avoid contact with backed-up wastewater.
- Tell Tiger if drain chemicals have already been used.
- If wastewater is actively backing up into the home, treat it as an urgent problem—start with Emergency Plumbing.
Helpful when you call
Share what you know. Nothing more is required.
The purpose of the first conversation is to describe the service need—not to complete a troubleshooting checklist.
- Which fixture or fixtures are affected
- Whether the drain is slow, stopped, or causing a backup
- When the change began and whether it has happened before
- Whether drain chemicals have already been used
What happens next
Call. Assessment. Options.
- 1
Call
Describe the affected fixture, what the drain is doing now, and any earlier trouble you remember.
- 2
Assessment
An onsite assessment gives Tiger the context needed to understand the current drain problem without guessing from a symptom alone.
- 3
Options
After the assessment, review the available next steps and ask questions before deciding how to proceed.
